Wow! Love it. You know our mind is like a radio... it tunes in to the frequency we are vibrating moment to moment. I was feeling the same way and you gave such beautiful expression to it. This is how the poem becomes alive and stays with you for the longest time. Love the way you ended "till we take the courage to look inside.....".
Thank you Mithu...I really think we need to think of ourselves also to live a full life. And this full life also includes us being caring to all whom and what we love - without losing sight of the duty we owe ourselves.....
Absolutely!! We are conditioned to think that we are selfish if we have self-love and take care of our own needs. We realize much later in life, that unless we are happy, joyful and in peace, we can not bring happiness in others.
That Life is a long continuous sorrow was postulated 2500 years ago by the Buddha. Or put it another away, our lives are lived in memory. Memory is well equipped to handle pain, but does not store joy.
As we all know, all art is such a beautiful 360 degree fulfillment - starts by enriching us as the ones who create it and ends by enriching those who encounter it.....

This is so negative! You need to take a deep breath and ... go forward.

Our lives are lived in memory. Which also means live in the moment - so you do create lasting memories. That is indeed sublime - and so true.
Ah, but who of all these renters gets inspired to write such great poetry?
We all have to find our place in life, and we keep searching until we find it. Your place, clearly, is at least in part to write poetry.
Arjan, thank you for saying that.
I truly hope so!!
